"I liked the old world charm of Southern Cross, and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
The bed was comfortable, and there were some nice touches such as strawberries to put on our cereal at breakfast, home-made marmalade, and nice biscuits on the tea tray in our room. We appreciated these."

"The Passage House Hotel is in such a beautiful location. Lovely scenery and walks. Easy and quick to drive to shops. The hotel is a little tired and dated but that had no impact on our stay. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The pool was a great hit with grandchildren. We thoroughly enjoyed the Passage House Inn which is right next door. Food and drinks looking over the estuary. We would definitely stay again b"
"The buffet breakfast was excellent: there were wide choices to suit every taste. The reception staff were exceptional: we have seldom encountered such a welcoming, considerate team. They did all they could to ensure that our stay was enjoyable.
During our stay, there was extensive building work being carried out on the campus -which resulted in diversions and restricted parking spaces - but this was obviously a temporary problem.

"The Devon Hotel is very easy to find - located just off a roundabout (with excellent Teslas charging nearby). Perfect for travelling off to the Torbay area.Although near the road, the hotel is quiet. Lots of parking, but does get busy in the week evenings.
Superb breakfast and really helpful friendly staff.
Comfortable bed, lots of hot water and everything working as expected. So I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would happily rebook if I visit this area again.
