"All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. "The the staff were amazing. We couldn’t fault anything. On arrival we checked in at reception to be greeted with our room information and all information relevant to the hotel such as parking and food. We were shown to our room which was lovely very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. We popped over for dinner and had our son and grandson join us. Our grandson has a peanut allergy. "Hotel is central to everything (shops, restaurants, theatre, bars etc) but hidden in a quiet street behind the theatre royal. The standard of rooms is excellent (lovely touches in each room makes you feel relaxed and cared for), we were also surprised at how quiet the rooms were. The breakfast was superb, with a wide range of quality food available. The staff are always well presented, friendly and approachable, helpful and knowledgable of both the hotel and the surrounding areas and events....
