The room, although small was very comfortable with a feeling of space provided by the view. Dinner was very good and the breakfast options were great. Staff were very natural and friendly. Parking is provided at the back of the property in a quiet free public car park, with access to the hotel just a few steps away. I would definitely stay here again when next in the area, with no hesitation.

Yes the room was spotlessly clean and tidy, only thing was room 12 bed rock hard didn’t get much sleep because of the hardness but rooms were nice size staff where lovely couldn’t do enough for you and brilliant with my grandchildren. Breakfast was lovely as well

Stayed here for a wedding in nearby Morpeth and was well impressed. The owner and her family were superb hosts, and nothing wax too much trouble. Breakfast superb, rooms clean and comfy, and 72 free parking round the back of the property make it a great base for a long weekend to explore the area. Would happily return!

It is a quirky place. Looks very plain from the front but was a lovely place to stay. Great service from arrival to departure. Food was superb. After checking out we were on our way to Sunderland when we realised we hadn't tipped the staff so, we turned back and did so. That's how good it was. Will definitely return.

Would definitely recommend laird's house

Genuinely such a nice hotel, VERY reasonably priced and I cannot complain at all. The food was great, service was fantastic and the overall appearance of the hotel was incredible. My Mrs and I absolutely loved our stay at laird's house and are planning on going back again at some point in the near future.
