"The room was spacious with a good amount of storage whilst the room did not have air conditioning it was cool and a comfortable temperature, which to say it was 30 degrees outside was good. There was a fan available, but we didn't need to use it. Room was clean and the bathroom was acceptably clean. There was however slight mould spots on some of the grouting and sealant in the shower. "Room and staff were excellent"

"This is a so so hotel. It’s aging and showing it. The rooms are a little bit pokey and very very basic. The staff are great and friendly, so the stay was okay, but I wouldn’t choose to stay there again. Room accessibility is bad as the bulk of the rooms are a long way from reception and a fair amount are up flights of stairs with no lift access. For the price point you can do a lot lot better. Basic and boring."

"Decent sized room (stayed in deluxe double) for 2 nights. Admittedly didn’t feel particularly deluxe as the furniture was old and it felt a little tired. Clean enough but could do with a refurb. Car charging onsite was handy and good location without being stuck in city centre."

"Cleanliness is was ok. Be prepared that is old!!! Uneven steps, no elevator, no air conditioning or room fridge! Historic is great, but none of the comforts of home. Cold attitude toward guests! Did accommodate with a fan, but that wasn’t much help. Request for ice - one glass with 4 ice cubes!"

"Rooms were clean, quiet and had everything you needed. This hotel is room only. You have a key for the front door to come in and out and key for your room. There is a number to contact the owners but only saw them when checking in. Rooms provide tea/coffee and bottled water. It’s a no nonsense hotel which has everything you need in your room for your stay."
