"Stayed for 1 night in small double (room was still a good size). Hotel is really well located. Have stayed here a few times and always provides value and a good experience."

"There were positives and negatives to our stay. The public areas and bar area were welcoming, clean and well appointed. Staff were friendly and polite. While our room was clean and comfortable it was very much in need of a refurb. The bathroom was clean and functional but very tatty in places, especially the window area. Toiletries were provided, but as only product was a combined hand wash, body wash and shampoo they couldn’t be described as luxurious. Our main disappointment was when we were woken before 8am as workman were working on the unoccupied rooms along our corridor. This included removing the furniture into the corridor and taking up the carpets. We were not informed at check-in that the work was planned. The hotel is in a quiet area of Harrogate just 5 minutes walk into the town centre. Ample onsite parking although there is a £12/night charge. "

"Excellent location and parking available. Lovely friendly welcome. We stayed in converted room in the courtyard, it was lovely and warm, spotless clean, nice decor with quality bedding and accessories. Short walk to market square. Lovely place to stay and visit. We will be back. "

"Room was spotless, the bed very comfortable and the staff were very courteous and patient. Food and drink a little on the expensive side but am sure similar hotels were the same. Overall would recommend this hotel. Thank you "
