"Front desk staff were very pleasant and polite. Having said that, the place is looking long in the tooth, and is very basic. Despite obviously having been painted fairly recently, I'm guessing, it did not hide the missing patch of paint in the room (hidden by a sticker), the bottom of the bathroom door looking very like something had been gnawing on it, and the strong sulphur smell from the bathroom sink every time water was run. I did not chance drinking water from the faucet. Added to that, very thin walls! One guest on one side obviously had a cough, and on the other side, music was clearly heard being played at 2:30 a.m., as well as other noises I did not want to be hearing! I did not sleep well either of the two nights of my stay."

"We always love staying at the Anza Hotel. The location is ideal, within a short walk to Hanks’s bagels, Trader Joe’s, Calabasas Commons, and the Saturday market. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful and the rooms are nice. The regular rooms have some noise issues, since they face the freeway, but it’s not bad. We will come back!"

"Everything there is fine enough, but this is our second time staying at this hotel and both times, in different rooms, they have a strong smell (either perfume or the cleaning product mixed with a history of smokers?). Otherwise, everything is clean enough baby not quite at the level of spotless (specifically felt like the carpet in the room was a bit dirtier) . The staff that take care of breakfast time are very kind and pleasant to see each morning and provide a nice hotel breakfast experience. The area around the pool and hot tub is lovely for walking around even when trying to get a baby go to sleep.😅"

"It’s a great location if you are visiting the San Fernando Valley. Calabasas is a beautiful place with lots of great places to walk, eat, and shop. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. "

"Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the LA area. We have friends who live in Woodland Hills, so it was nearby their house. The hotel is clean, modern and staff was extremely friendly + accommodating. Also, I did not know this before booking, but the Los Angeles Rams NFL team has its practice facility directly across the street and were practicing one morning as my wife and I walked to a store."
