"Engel16 is a fantastic find not far from Germany’s highest waterfall with comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting. Astrid and Victor are wonderful hosts who take the utmost care to care for their guests and offer an amazing restaurant menu in the evening tasty breakfast in the morning! "This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was outstanding. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
Just one suggestion, my bathroom was a little cramped and I was really missing a full-length mirror somewhere in the room.

The beds were comfortable enough, the internet worked great, even when we had several devices connected. The staff are helpful and friendly.
