This hotel was perfectly located for us, with just a short walk into Gengenbach. We only stayed for one night but enjoyed the facilities including the pool and breakfast. The room was spacious and had everything we need. I would be happy to stay again.

Property was clean and well maintained. Room was comfortable. Disliked the dark hallways in the evening; could benefit from motion detectors to turn on when passing. Breakfast was great! We stayed only one night but managed to go for a quick swim!

Lovely hotel, spacious room, clean, efficient staff, nice location, lovely spa. One staff member was outstanding, I believe their name was Vlad but I could be mistaken, was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable throughout and couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended to stay here. We will be returning!

Nicely located, good breakfast area, and bar with outside seating. Some staff went out of their way to help, which was much appreciated as I don’t speak much German. On the downside the evening meal was expensive with a limited menu

Staff is super nice. Hotel is a bit outdated, the rooms can use a decoration refresh but they are big and clean. About a 10 min walk to Gengenbach town centre. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the vibe looked relaxing.

Staff was outstanding. I’d like to mention the little lady at breakfast. She was so pleasant and nice to talk to. Another lady who stood out was the blonde lady at dinner who was very attentive and friendly! And the young man who helped us in the mornings since he spoke English the best. Thank you!

Check out complicated

The superior room was spacious, featured a balcony, and was nicely decorated. Breakfast was adequate. The check-in process was pleasant and welcoming. However, check-out was quite complicated, as the receptionist attempted to charge me for the night, even though it had already been paid for at the time of booking.
