"We had a lovely weekend at Bak A Yaad. The grounds are beautiful. It was easy to upgrade our reservation to a cabin with more amenities when we checked in. The cabin and common areas were tidy and well-kept. Walking distance to great restaurants and small grocery. "

"We adored this “rustic” property with its early morning birdsong, simple clean (very clean!) rooms and lovely pool overlooking the ocean. Delicious breakfast poolside or on our terrace. Courteous and kind staff. Highly recommend!"

"This is an old property. The accommodations are not what we are accustomed to. The architecture is interesting as it resembles French colonial from the early 1900s. The place seems abandoned but there are other guests there. Mostly people who work at other resorts. Reception is not staffed consistently. The best part of this place is location across the street from skylark beach club. This is where we hung out during the day. Also this place is very quiet and relaxing."

"Beautiful property on the West End. We have stayed in Negril many times and this is by far one of the best resorts we have stayed. The location is perfect. The staff is incredible and Paul, the lifeguard, is a dear friend we met a few years ago. The Lodge food is amazing. And the 3 dogs there are sweethearts. Just a great laid back vibe you would expect in Negril."

Views were beautiful with a number of activities. Restaurants were nice. The spa was awesome! The only negative is that the food was good, not spectacular. Would highly recommend!"
