"Lovely rooms and setting."

"We booked the Dinney B&B due to its close proximity to the Astbury Golf Resort, where we were attending a wedding reception. We visited the Dinney early, to work out the logistics and chanced to meet Keith the owner. He allowed us to drop our bags in our room, gave us our keys and assured us that we could leave our car at the Astbury, walk back and he'd sort a lift back the next day - now that's excellent customer service! The room was comfortable and clean, with a good ensuite shower room....

"We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus! Check in / check out was swift and efficient. "Bar and breakfast rooms were great..clean room..however we were given top floor room with four flights of stairs.. room too small for a double with very uneven floor.. Room was very hot window only opened six inches not much air coming in.fan provided was useless.. didn’t get much sleep as we were hot sticky and itratible..not going back.this was not in the heatwave.. the following weekend .."

"The room was just what I needed. Was in town for the Premier League. Conveniently located to the train station and an easy enough walk to Molineux."

"Very pleasant stay overall, with a cosy and well-maintained room. The service was excellent throughout — Alex and his team were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made a real difference to the experience. The food was another highlight, with excellent quality at both dinner and breakfast. The team also showed great flexibility in accommodating special requests, which was very much appreciated. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay that I would happily recommend."

"Lovely hospitality, nice food, nice room and very friendly staff. It might be an idea to inform the chef that a poached egg is not served with a lot of water swilling round the toast, otherwise marvellous. Convenient location"

"It is under new management, it had been 'let go'. Our stay was tolerable. 1 member of staff was very good others not so. I believe that in the not too distant future it will be excellent, currently a work in progress"

"We stayed for two nights in June 2026, our hosts were waiting to greet us even though we were 3 hours later than our ETA. From that moment to when we left they treated us like we had known each other for many years, a truly unique experience. The breakfast and the homemade cake was simply superb. If we ever need accommodation in the area again we would not hesitate to stay with Jackie and Rob at the White Cottage in Trysull, Staffs."

"Welcoming owners Helen and Andy provide a warm, comfortable and luxurious B&B in the heart of lovely Eccleshall. Helen's artsy skill are shared in abundance, with every little detail attended to. Our room overlooked the beautiful garden at the back of the property, adjacent to private car parking, and a gentle stroll down to the town. We plan to stay again, truly a delightful experience."
