"A very nice hotel, the rooms at the rear of the hotel were former farm buildings which have been completely renovated. There is a wet room ensuite which is well appointed. The restaurant has a good choice of food which is excellently cooked and presented. The breakfast menu which has to be ordered the evening before was slightly confusing until I worked out that the price stays the same and you just tick your personal choices. Well sited and only 6 minutes from the Bristol Airport Silver Zone...

"We didn’t arrive to this hotel until after midnight and we checked out quite early, so we didn’t use the bar or any of the facilities or stay for breakfast. I can say that the room was fine, everything is provided that you might need, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
Only complaint was that the fan was dusty so we couldn’t use it and we couldn’t have the window open because the bins were under our window and were smelly. Would stay again."

"Absolutely lovely place - bedroom was great - clean and had everything you would need at an amazing price. Cannot complain about the room at all. Only had a little niggle with the food as one of our meals wasn’t great but the other fine! Staff were lovely but busy."

"A very cool/reserved welcome. Check-in seems like an effort. Quickly settled and sat outside for a drink - went inside because the language was disgusting. The swearing inside was no better and neither was the misogynistic comments from the senior members. Good place to stay but let down by the clientele"

"We had a lovely and comfortable stay in this well-located house. Even though I missed the check-in time details, Lisa was extremely accommodating and gave us a very warm welcome. She also recommended some great places to eat and visit, which we really appreciated. We would happily stay here again."

"The truest test of a review is would we stay there again? The answer to that is sadly a no. Nothing particularly wrong, just not really a good value all things considered in the end.
The property is well positioned in the city for access to grocery, chain restaurants, coffee houses and the #8 bus. There is a busy street, particularly popular on weekends nearby.
The place was very clean, smelling of bleach when we arrived, however bleach wasn’t wiped away near a counter and one of us ended up...

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard.
There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding.
The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor.

"Positives : close to the airport and has parking.
However, the room was terribly hot and there was no fan. If you opened the window the traffic, which is constant, could be heard even louder. The surfaces were sticky (bedside tables and coffee table) plus the bathroom had a terrible smell of drain. The mattress was sagging.
To add, entering the property from the main road was easy but exiting it not so much given the overgrown hedges in combination with the constant traffic. Consider existing...
