"Greeted by young lady who was very professional and polite with just the right amount of interest before showing me the room, which was clean and spacious with a nice view out of the bay window onto the garden. Breakfast options were available, quality and quantity were very good. Thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay."

"Although somewhat 'dated' in some area we loved the overall experience. The meals were very good and all staff were excellent in their dealings with us."
"Yoland is an excellent host and she made us feel very welcome. It is a fairly quiet area in a small village with other areas accessible. Beautiful gardens and picturesque scenery. "
"The property is a hotel/wedding venue. It’s beautifully decorated. Near to the highway and not far from Strewsbury. Nicely decorated living rooms and outdoor areas to sit in. Nice restaurant. "

A cooked breakfast would have made the stay even better but there was a continental breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurt etc."
"Fabulous period property with so much charm. There were only a handful of people staying, including me, which made for a very peaceful stay. I slept well, and the rooms had great amenities. I would say the rooms felt dated, but this adds to the charm of the property.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out was a breeze, and gave me a great history of the property, an overview of the...
"Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also...
