"Beautiful cottage in a fantastic, friendly village. It had everything we needed and was located close enough to the places we wanted to visit. Good local walks and a really nice pub over the road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area."

The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. "Beautiful views and great communication from the owner on how to find it and access your hut. We stayed in The Hive for one night and it was a little dusty, everything needed a deep clean. It didn’t ruin our trip, and would visit again in the hope this was a one off error."

ORIDA Maidstone Hotel

"We arrived after midnight for an overnight family stay before an early ferry from Dover. Our 6 year old promptly threw up in reception but the chap checking us in was amazing. We tried to clean up but he insisted he would do it and despite being mortified he made us feel welcome. For what we paid, the hotel was comfortable, 2 large king beds, very clean, good staff and easy location. Would definitely stay again."

"Bit of miscommunication between reception desk and restaurant. We asked at reception what time Breakfast was open the following morning for the August Bank Holiday Monday as we needs to set off early. We were told 6.30am so planned around that only to be told next morning at the restaurant it was 7.30am which messed up our travel plans. "

"The hotel isn't modern, but it's pleasant. Everything is close by: restaurants, shops, and a bus station. The view from the window is beautiful, and the beach is a 10-15-minute walk away. The staff was very helpful. One minor drawback was the room service: we had to ask for fresh towels or toilet paper even though someone was in our room every day because shampoo sachets were left behind. "

"Fabulous helpful service, very comfortable beds and fantastic shower, clean and bright. Great choice at breakfast with food of very good quality. Parking facility for ev, pre-bookable in advance was very convenient. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when in Ashford. Also, short walking distance to town centre and across the road from train station with service directly into London"

The Falstaff Hotel

"We got to the hotel early so that we could look around Canterbury. Parking at the hotel is via an App,(it was not like that last time we stayed), being Old it took us over half an hour to pay for the parking, bare that in mind if you are old and not OK with modern Apps and you don't have a smart phone the telephone numbers on the "Ringo notice board do not help with paying for parking", basically a nightmare. Hotel was fantastic, clean, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing in the morning was great, continental or full English. At the end of the Car Park is a "Wetherspoons" so the evening meal was excellent:- 2 Fish, Chips and Peas, a Pint of Cider and a Brandy and coke £23.50 all in. All in all we had a lovely time at the Falstaff, Canterbury."

"Our stay at Hempstead House in Sittingbourne completely excelled against expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make everything absolutely perfect. Every single member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly – you could really feel that they cared about making guests comfortable. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully kept, which made for a really relaxing stay. The spa was the highlight for us – we absolutely loved it. The jacuzzi and hydro pool were wonderfully warm, and even the small outdoor pool had lovely hot water, which was such a treat. It was the perfect place to unwind. The food at the hotel was also amazing – beautifully presented, full of flavour, and excellent service to match. Overall, Hempstead House is a gem. The staff, the spa, the food, and the atmosphere all came together to give us a stay we won’t forget. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly, and luxury experience in Kent."
