"Room was spacious for a single en-suite with, clean and comfy. Decor is looking a little tired and in need of some painting. Staff were polite, efficient and continually helpful. the only potential drawback is that there are no catering facilities on-site but there are plenty of cafe's and restaurants within a ten minute walk but worth being aware of that when you book. In general a Hotel that provides what it says in an efficient manner and welcoming style. Not a luxury hotel by any means but certainly value for money, Highly recommended for those on a limited budget. Nice peaceful area and the added bonus of still having lockable rooms without the need of the dreaded swipe card."

"Great place to stay, especially thanks to the fantastic staff. My partner and I were there over the weekend and were really grateful to be able to leave our bags before check in and after check out to get a bit more time in Brighton and Hove. I was traveling without a phone, and was really glad that the check-in experience didn't have any digital faff. The room was nice and cool during the summer heat, and quiet, as well."

"Helpful staff - we were initially allocated a room with a view of a brick wall, despite having requested in the booking a room with a view. The Front of House representative quickly found us another room with a more pleasant view. Parking was easy, the room was quiet (also as requested) and the on-site amenities were very good. The pool and spa area was clean and well maintained."

"All staff at The Swan were extremely helpful and cheerful, willing to help anyone. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and plenty of choice along with the various juices, yoghurts, fruits and pastries. Our room 9 was beautiful and we found it to be spotlessly clean on arrival, decorated lovely too. I would have saved myself around £50 if I had booked directly with the hotel itself though."
