"I enjoyed the property, the food was good and accommodation was excellent and clean. I loved the art decor throughout the resort displaying Jamaica culture. The staff were friendly and attentive. The resort lacked night time entertainment. I would have loved to see beach parties and parties on the patio area. I would go back for a relaxing vacation. The ladies at the spa did an excellent job with the massages."

"I was a solo traveler and felt safe and accommodated during my stay. The food was good. The staff was friendly and available. The AC unit in the room worked and they had a big smart TV in the room. I will stay again"

"It's a bit overpriced for what it is. The "partial ocean view" part is false advertising. There's no view of the ocean from the room I stayed in, but there was a very small beach right outside the gates. The area was also a little noisy because music was being blasted well past 10 p.m. on a Monday night which wasn't that bad, but then I woke up to a lot of banging fron 6 a.m. to about 8 a.m. There was also constant foot traffic and talking by my door around that time. "This is a hidden f close to the airport. I really enjoy the stay it had a nice big bed and was clean. The bathroom was a bit small but not inconvenient. I like that my room was facing the criteria pool they have. Now they I found this place I will be back"

Even the poor must be honest and advertise as so."

"I booked the hotel for colleagues.. Upon passing by the hotel in route to somewhere else, prior to check in time, we could not believe the hotel was even open. The property was extremely unclean, piles of trash, abandoned vehicles etc. I could not let our guests stay there. WE NEVER CHECKED IN. I do not recommend staying at this hotel until they clean up the property."

"Property is listed as a resort. It's not. They are rundown apartments renting as short term rentals. The apartment I was assigned badly needed up dating.. The place was stuck in the 1970s. "The surprise in the name checks out. Surprise- no pool, surprise very dirty.. bathroom disgusting. Furniture dirty and disgusting. Not comfortable at all. Ants and knots all throughout the kitchen. Location horrible have to pay $60 to go to nearest store and no one delivered . "
