"Everything we needed …. Breakfast was great!"

"The hotel in general was excellent, with the large family room we had booked having 2 comfortable double beds. However, the evening food in the restaurant was not good at all, and the breakfast was mediocre at best."

"From arriving the staff were so polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy and were very well stocked with everything you would need in a suite stay. The included breakfast had a great variety of both hot and continental items. On-site secure parking for £13 was great. We will definitely stay here again."

"We had a really lovely stay at Jesmond Dene Hotel. The staff were lovely, breakfast was delicious and the hotel provided a quiet, peaceful escape."

"My cousin and I have been a regular returning guests at this hotel, having chosen it on numerous occasions for staycations and relaxing getaways. As returning guests, we always enjoy staying at this hotel. It has become one of our preferred choices whenever we visit the area for a relaxing getaway. A special thank you to Hannah, the General Manager, Lisa from the dining room team, and the lovely lady who takes care of keeping our room clean and tidy every day. "Well situated to train station, Eldon Square shopping centre, Grainger Market, Bigg Market’s bars and some nice restaurants a few minutes walk away. Room was decent although paint was peeling off the bathroom wall and some mould in the shower, so definitely needs a room refresh."

"Modern and clean hotel"

"Located a just outside the city centre. Use the Q3 bus outside the hotel or the metro which is a little walk away. Room was clean and had everything you needed. Situated near a major supermarket, popular coffee shop and loads of eateries. Reasons for giving it 4 stars. 1. No lift and I was on the top floor with a heavy suitcase. 2. Had to pay £2 for luggage storage."

"Lovely hotel. Great value for money in a lively student area."

"Really spacious clean room. Bathroom a bit dated and shower not very warm. Great location and parking facilities. Cracking view of the river from the room. I got an email offering a deal on breakfast. On paying at reception I was told it didn’t include VAT for the breakfast which was extra which I thought was a bit misleading. Other than that nice stay."

"Excellent customer services at Check in and throughout the stay. Great location, 2 minute walk from strain station. Really effective sound proofing and amazing breakfast choices, really good veg option. Would recommend."
