"Great location. It's pretty clean overall. I gave a 4-star rating for cleanliness because I did see a small cockroach once in the kitchen area. I think the property needs renovation badly. The furniture looks old. The rooms have stone tiles with poor sound proofing, so you can hear everything above, below and next to you. The noise kept me awake many nights. "

It is a very short walk to the beach and the Waikiki strip where you can pretty much find everything you might need from food, brewery's, shops, etc. I would definitely be back and of course I would totally recommend this hotel."

"We are from the Waikiki area but this is the first time I've stayed at the Queen Kap. I get coffee in their lobby all the time when I come to town. I was there with my elderly father to bring him back to the island one last time to relive and revisit his childhood memories. The hotel was a perfect location for us because he grew up in Kaimuki neighborhood. I was able to arrange an electric scooter that allow him to get around the property and the area. "Great resort with a fabulous restaurant on site. Parts are a little dated, albeit didn’t matter. Easy walk to shopping and beach. Pool area is particularly lovely. Linens are new and luxurious. Staff super friendly and helpful."
