"The hotel was in a lovely old building, our room was clean, tidy & a good size. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our dinner last night and breakfast was very good. We'd recommend it."

"We had a nice and comfortable stay overall. The venue is lovely, with beautiful views and a great location. The rooms were nice, although a little dated in places.
There were just a few things that could have been better. The toiletries were very limited for two people – only one soap, one shower gel and one body lotion. There was also a crack in the shower, and the water was filling up when using the sink, which wasn’t ideal.
The spa was lovely, but we were disappointed that we had to pay...

"We booked a £324 overnight stay, including dinner and breakfast, as an early birthday treat. The hotel looked attractive and the room appeared clean, but the experience was deeply disappointing.
We booked a Deluxe Room, having deliberately ruled out the separately advertised Deluxe Accessible Room. On arrival, we were allocated what appeared to be that room, in the separate Coach House. It was stark and lacked the character we expected.
Worse was the handling of our concerns. The duty manager...
