"We were fortunate that there were not many people there when we arrived and the room were comfortable, clean, and easy to find. The porch on the front was lovely to sit and look at the waterfalls (i counted at least 10) visible in the Fjord."

"The property is located on a great location, simply fabulous. The staff was also quite helpful. They managed to change our rooms and update us when AC in our room was not working."

"The view of the fjord is amazing!! We came on a non cruise ship day so it was very peaceful. The area / shops are lovely"

"Lovely hotel located just across the street from the fjord and ferry terminal. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant. Overall a great option for convenient access to the Hardangerfjord area."

"If you are drawn to this hotel by seeing it on People of the North, then prepare to be disappointed. The location is lovely and the rooms are large, and of course the view of the fjord is stellar, but there are several areas for disappointment. The dinner menu, for example, remains the same night after night. There is a "white fish of the week," rather than a selection of fish for main courses. There is lamb; it is fine. But if you are at the hotel for several nights, the menu is dull and you...

"Great location and good views but has no elevator"

"Excellent value! Great Views, wonderful restaurant! Convenient walk to the coffee/bakery /food trucks/water. I was in off season so it was super quiet and peaceful. It was a very easy stay I would recommend."
