Everything here was so nice! The staff was friendly and let us store our luggage before we checked in. You can walk right down to the path along the lake from downstairs, and right into town from the front entrance. Plus the train station is right down the street! And the free breakfast is amazing!

Top notch service!

Staff at hotel proactively friendly, very helpful & assisted when required. Room had a lovely view of the lake. Great location & close to everything. Would 100% stay here again if ever in Voss.

Very nice and service minded staff. The rooms in the oldest part do of course need an upgrade, but you have a very good value for money in this hotel.

Tired and run down

Very tired and run down, staff seemed insulted to be interacted with and breakfast was poor. Location is amazing though, the lake is beautiful. If they updated it from the 1990s time warp it would be a great place.

Our room was comfortable and they had a very nice breakfast. The view of the lake was wonderful. The window didn't open very well, and it would have been nice to have some fresh air. The public areas needed updating, but the rooms were very nice. Great Location.

This hotel was easy to find. Parking is right in the back. Nice to have a balcony. Do wear shoes on the balcony - it is made of wood. Good job with breakfast.

The room was a good size and the breakfast was good. The room decor was getting tired. I got two automatic emails through Expedia offering packed lunch but I got no response about contents and cost when I twice messaged the hotel asking fkr more information. Reception desk was deserted when we arrived for checking and other guests had spent 10 minutes searching the hotel trying to find someone.

Well located, comfortable with weirdly dated decor

Interesting throwback to an earlier era in decor, but excellent lakefront location near train station. Spacious, comfortable room and excellent included breakfast. The hotel feels like a ski resort from the 70s with dark wood and lots of underutilised spaces. The focus now seems to be on its wine credentials, but we didn't sample that aspect.
