"Liked: 1) The owner met us upon arrival and indicated where to park; 2) The “jungle-like” setting; 3) The quiet setting; 4) The cottage-like unit, especially the tree trunk columns; and 5) The papaya and fig bar “continental breakfast.”
Not liked: 1) The lack of clear signage and way-finding; and 2) The mustiness of the unit."

"Der Grund hier zu Übernachten sollte die Nähe zum Nationalpark sein. Dafür ist es gut aber nicht mehr.
Fehlende Erfahrung mit internationalen Gästen hinsichtlich der Checkin Anweisungen. Zudem hätte die Unterkunft gepflegter und sauberer sein können. Bsp. Bettlaken mit leichten Flecken und ungepflegter Holzboden am WC (war echt nicht schön)
Die Betreiber darauf hingewiesen und mit einem OK von ihnen kommentiert."

"Staying at Volcano Acres was truly one of the most special parts of my Big Island trip. The peaceful pond, adorable animals, and beautiful surroundings made it feel like a little sanctuary. Inside, every detail showed so much thought and care: the comfortable cotton sheets, cozy robe, delicious coffee, helpful notebook, and all the little touches that made the room feel warm and welcoming.
