"Have accurate and detailed directions to this property in the description of the property on Expedia, plus a note that you will have to haul your luggage up stone steps, so if you have mobility issues it will be a problem. If this is first time booking and not familiar with the area, you will need all the help you can get. We arrived yesterday by car. "Had a pleasant stay. Liked the breakfast and beach access. Staff very helpful esp in the restaurant and also Reception. Rooms were very clean. Didn't use the pool. Rooms need to be equipped with a small microwave and of course wifi for travellers convenience thank you."

"We stayed in room 1 for 1 night. Modern and clean. No view but well placed in the centre. Lovely breakfast provided, brought to our room. Only downside was the parking. As we didn't get a reply to our message about parking we paid for 24 hour parking, none of which could be refunded. It is best to just get enough parking until your check in time as they then provide some parking which they pay for. This would be necessary anyway as there's nowhere to pull up and offload your luggage."

Communication was confusing as I sent in my arrival time more than once and had no response. Finally (the day of) was told I can't check in until 2 despite my messages saying my arrival was earlier. "The hotel is located in a small almost deserted village 15 mins away from Dubrovnik. There is nothing there except the hotel and one small mini-mart. You can take a bus to town. The room was spacious and nice. The walls are thin so you can hear people in the next room. The breakfast was very basic. One staff member was rude but the other was very nice. We stayed out exploring as long as we could. I would say this is a basic hotel, nothing fancy, isolated, but within 15 min bus ride to Dubrovnik."

Anka was a wonderful host - we were greeted with Croatian cake and liqueur and my children were invited to pick oranges from the trees in the garden. Comfy beds & it was very handy having proper beds for all 5 of us. Washing machine in one of the bathrooms, and a very well equipped kitchen. Children loved them cat and other animals nearby.
