"We arrived at Domaine du Chauvet after a long drive from Spain. Mr Jabali was the perfect host: he was very welcoming and he prepared us an excellent meal at a time to suit us. The building is beautiful with a decor of stone, wood and white linen. Parking is safe and secure behind electric gates. Our bedroom was small but very comfortable. Next morning we had the best breakfast ever - pastries ,bread, fruit , cereal, coffee, tea, juice. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Matthias and Emilie were very gracious hosts. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Their beautiful animals were immediately our friends. We decided to have their dinner and it was amazing as was the breakfast. A bonus was we met another couple that stayed the night and became good friends with them as well. "Most of the amenities weren’t available but the beauty of the chateau and the kindness of the caretakers more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a quiet place to soak in the countryside, this is it. Serene, quiet and beautiful
If you don’t have a vehicle be sure to stop at the grocery before heading in. Breakfast is provided but you’re on your own for anything else. The shared kitchen is easy if you’re prepared.

"Great location for walking around Bordeaux. Large room and excellent bathroom. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was excellent. Our only concern was that to reach the rooms you had to climb stairs with your luggage and as we had heavy suitcases it was not easy "
"Wonderful! This property has character, it is spotless and very tastefully decorated, rustic with a modern twist.
The owners are friendly without being intrusive and the breakfast was very good, everything fresh and served in lovely surroundings.The bed was the most comfortable of our whole trip and the bathroom rain shower was great. It has a relaxed vibe and in a great area for exploring Bordeaux. This is somewhere we would definitely return to when we do another trip to Bordeaux.
