When we arrived for a four-day stay, the hotel told us that they didn’t have the three bedroom suite we had reserved and tried to put all six of us in a single small room. They left us scrambling for new accommodations.

An exceptional gem!

Wonderful garden setting - a little oasis! Lovely traditional style buildings, comfortable bed and pillows, air-con, tv, hot shower. Breakfast included and a basic but excellent lunch menu. Onsite bar also. The receptionist arranged a taxi to the airport for us no problem. The staff were all very friendly. I would stay again and heartily recommend staying here. A short walk to the main restaurant, night market and waterfront area as well. Loved it!

공항에서 가까운 라오스 전통방식 숙소

공항에서 10분 거리 정도의 가까운 거리에 있습니다. 라오스 전통가옥을 숙소로 개조한것으로 보입니다. 전통적인 멋이 있는대신 최신 시설은 아닙니다. 획일적인 호텔에 식상한다면 머르고 색다른 경험을 하기에는 좋아 보입니다. 시설은 오래되어 낡았으나 청소 상태나 타월등은 깨끗하고 침구도 뽀송뽀송해서 좋네요...

Alt i alt en fin oplevelse. Værelset var fint for et par nætter, men der var huller i væggene, så der kom mange myg ind, og der var ikke myggenet på værelset! Ift. renlighed var det okay, værelset var fint rent da vi rykkede ind, men der stod vi fik daglig rengøring, hvilket vi ikke fik!! Staff var søde nok, men var ikke videre serviceminded..... Morgenmaden var ikke noget specielt. Hotellet ligger lidt fra byen, men der er ikke længere end at man kan gå, hvilket vi gjorde meget.... Der er også mulighed for at tage til en tuk tuk ind til byen.

Good value for the money

This is a very sweet budget hotel. The grounds are beautiful, the free breakfast is very good, and the staff are really really nice, but the rooms themselves are a bit rundown. Also, it's a 10-15 minute walk from the city center. If you don't want to walk a bit, it might not be the hotel for you.

Value for Money and lots of character

Villa Lao is quaint but hard to find due to confusing signage on the access road. There are two different signs for the hotel but one leads to the owner’s residence, while the other is for the actual hotel. The rooms are large and clean. However if you have inconsiderate neighbors, the noise from say an upstairs room can be very loud & disturbing. We had a young man with disabilities live above us for 2 nights and it was really noisy but luckily he slept early each night. The breakfasts are good with a limited choice of American or local noodles. But the kitchen staff do a good job. The Garden fronting the food tables is also very pleasant. The reception and house keeping are also extremely helpful. The only other nuisance may be location. If one is walking, the Villa Lao is about 2-3km from the riverfront, which is the most happening place in Vientiane. All in, it was a nice place to stay at, good service, decent rooms and quaint set up. I would come back again.

共同シャワー、トイレの部屋に5泊する予定でした。 が、共同シャワー、トイレ室は清潔には程遠かったです。蚊が大量に舞ってます。 なので2泊目からはアップグレードし、客室に個別のシャワー、トイレ室が着いている部屋にしました。 こちらは程々の清潔感が保たれており、潔癖の方でない限りは大丈夫だと思います。 従業員は皆親切でした。 あとホテルで飼っている猫が人懐こくて可愛かったです。猫好きの方にはオススメです。

Comfortable enough with all the basics. Great breakfast every morning. The hottest you'll get the shower is a mild lukewarm temperature, for when the weather is hot- not so gray on the cooler days. Didn't have any room service while we were there, not sure why. Friendly staff.

Need more effort to improve wifi

Quite near from city center though, it’s difficult to find hotel because no indication of hotel along the main street. But surroundings were quiet. In the morning, you could wake up with the chicken sing. Wifi service exists but it’s better to forget it. I’m expecting to improve the internet speed.

No bathroom privacy

We left this hotel a day early despite not being able to get a refund. Our room was dark with no exterior windows. The bed was tolerable, as was breakfast. The biggest issue was with the bathroom walls which stop two feet before the ceiling (think cubicle) which meant no privacy barrier. We were very happy we left!

조용하고 조식 맛있음

사실 빡세에서 비엔티엔 가는 버스 안에서 급하게 호텔스닷컴으로 제일 싼 가격으로 예약한 것임. 후기가 나쁘지 않았는데, 실제로 가보니 후기랑 비슷. 그래서 만족함, 처음에 화장실 없는 방을 보여주셔서, 화장실 있는 방으로 바꾸었고, 방 넓고 욕실도 넓고 뜨거운 물 잘 나오고, 에어컨 있고 괜찮음. 조식 진짜 맛있음. 뷔폐는 아니고... 다만 와이파이....... 기대조차 하지 마셈. 그냥 내폰 데이터 쓰는게 더 빠름. 그리고 스태프들 다 친절함. 아, 필요한 것들은 미리미리 얘기해서 받아야됨. 스태프 쪽에서 먼저 해주지 않습니다.

日常生活を忘れて、落ち着きたい人に、最適なホテルです。

先ず、部屋によるのでしょうが、テレビが無かったので日常生活が、変わります。歯ブラシセットが、付いているのは最近では、珍しい。朝の6時に、到着したらチェックインが、出来、朝飯も取れた。アーリーチェックインのチヤージもなしに、朝飯代も取られなかった。

街の中心から外れたホテル

エクスペディアの情報では冷蔵庫があるとのことであったが、最安の部屋には付いていなかった。wi-fiの電波も弱かったり、朝食の麺類はインスタント麺であったりなど、期待したものとは異なるものだった。
