"The room was all set for our visit. Very clean, comfortable and air conditioner worked. The only reason I would take a star away is because of a brown stain that was at the entrance of the bathroom, I would recommend that they cut out that portion of the carpet and replace. I was just an old stain that they couldn’t be completely removed. I covered it on our visit. The one other problem I have with The Resident Covent Garden was that it has no FOOD in house. My problem, I should have noticed...

The air conditioning did seem to fault after the first night but luckily it was chilly when we went but could be bothersome in warmer temperatures."

"From the moment me and my son stepped foot into the Clermont we were treated so well. The reception staff treated me and my son very well with a free upgrade, free drinks and a clermont teddy and Easter gift for him. They really couldn’t have done enough for us. We checked in early as the room was ready, the room was very clean, big and also very quiet, we slept so well for being in central London and couldn’t hear any outdoor noise. The location was perfect we walked to lots of local landmarks...

"This was an amazing central location. This was the tail end of our trip so we wanted to do it with style and this was perfect. We were greeted by a great staff who were very helpful throughout. The room was very comfortable and roomy. We were able to walk to all the local places like Covent Garden, Picadilly, etc. Great nearby pubs and food. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We were very early to check-in and just wanted to leave our bags we were offered an early check-in if we accepted an upgrade at a price, we were under no time pressure so declined to upgrade but we were then immediately checked in and given our rooms, I didn't like that as it suggested the hotel were trying to get more money out of us, a little thing but left us feeling a little uncomfortable. Other than that although the room was very small it was OK, nothing special but OK."
