"The rooms were compact but the bathroom had a nice sized bathroom. The bed was ok but memory foam as were the pillows. That’s not my taste but there were regular pillows available in the cupboard. The location was excellent. The pool is an unheated plunge pool. The pictures make it much bigger. The did have a lifeguard on duty full time. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Casa du Soleil! We booked the triple room, it was incredibly spacious, providing more than enough comfort. The staff were so kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also found the common areas, especially the kitchen, to be so useful during our trip. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madrid and would definitely love to go back again!"

"The apartment was spotless although it is only convenient if you have a reason to be in this area of Madrid, not for tourism. The elevator didn't work when I arrived, which was inconvenient (only had to haul luggage one flight of stairs). The shower is amazing!"

"Great location, easily walkable to most places in Madrid. Close to some great coffee places, bars and restaurants. Room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the bathroom, plenty of space but only one tiny vanity and no shelves for toiletries. There was also a persistent smell in the bathroom during our whole stay and the fan didn’t seem to work which meant the bathroom was always a little damp. "

"Stunning. I was originally staying at the Four Seasons and decided to switch to Palacio Atocha. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the personal attention and lovely room (highly recommend the junior suite!) "

"Location was great, especially for someone who likes to walk a lot. Would return for lunch, then head out again. Very residential with grocery stores, banks, near the major museums, and Retiro Park. Walked everyday in the park, rain or shine. My room was spacious. Nice walk in shower."

"Good location and generally easy to get to by metro, which has an exit less than 3 mins walk away. Easy access to the city centre and tourist attractions. Room is a bit small, but clean and comfortable. Great restaurants in the neighborhood. Highly recommended. "
