Thin walls
Booked this hotel because of my early morning flight, and it went the opposite of what I expected (to sleep a bit more before leaving). Very thin walls, a family of Chinese people arrived in a room next to mine at around 1am and they sounded like they were in a party, talking, laughing and screaming to each other. Couldn't sleep at all and had to leave the hotel at 3am to catch my flight.

Excellent emplacement s'il faut prendre tôt l'avion. Dans l'ensemble bon état et qualité d'équipement, sauf l'isolation phonique; si vous dormez au rez de chaussée vous entendrez les pas et l'écoulement d'eau du voisin dessus. Sinon il fallait réclamer la bouteille prévue pour les membres Gold, j'avais l'habitude que la bouteille soit dans la chambre sans devoir la réclamer. Possibilité de navette le matin pour un montant inférieur au moyens autres, donc très appréciable.

Lovely old farm transformed into a country hotel. Our room was so quaint and a lovely surprise. Breakfast is included and was good. Easy access to Maro Polo airport. They have an amazing restaurant connected to them down the street. They shuttle you to and from the restaurant. It was amazing but go early very busy. It’s well worth the trip. I highly recommend it all.

Receptionist was distracted easily and talked a lot to others, the phone….quite loud. There is a lot of echo and I could still hear her in our room. Need earplugs if you want to sleep…as every noise and voice echos. Otherwise, it was nice to relax by the pool for a bit.

The Hotel Venice Resort Airport was convenient for its proximity to Marco Polo Airport, which we needed to get to fairly early in the morning. The shuttle service was 15 euro for two people and was on time and efficient. The hotel room was in a different building on the 2nd floor. There are no elevators, so we (like other guests) made quite a bit of noise getting to and from with our suitcases. The room was spacious, but I found the bathroom to be small and the shower tile, moldy. The service was excellent: both the evening and morning shift workers were professional and courteous.

Very convenient to Marco Polo airport and resort has shuttle to local restaurant for dinner - which was great. Our only surprise was bedroom is on 2nd floor and bathroom on 1st floor. A stretch for senior citizens.

We arrived at rhe hotel at 10.30pm off our flight to be told they practice overbooking, as such we werev one of 3 bookings without a room. We had to wait on a taxi to take us to a hotel nearby which we had not chosen. I will be writing a formal complaint with expedia about our treatment on our return from Italy. Note we were told by the other hotel that the manager of the venice resort does this all the time and expedia need to be aware of this.

Sleepless night
We were out in a room that looked like it had been converted from a former office. The shower literally fell apart around me as I tried to close the flimsy doors. We were kept awake till midnight with constant banging and hammering. The air conditioner did not work. It was a sleepless night. The cost was very expensive and the shuttle was not included in the stay.

The place looked dilapidated, not at all what I expected of a 4-star hotel. We were informed at reception that they had overbooked our room and had made arrangements to book us at the nearby Best Western Hotel instead. This was quite a surprise, but we agreed, given the look of the hotel. The Best Western was definitely not a 4-star hotel, but I don't think the Hotel Venice Resort Airport is a 4-star either, so maybe it worked out.

We booked this approximately 5 months in advance. While walking to the stay after a long flight we decided to have the shuttle pick us up that the hotel had advertised to us two days prior. Only at that time were informed that we were no longer going to be able to stay with them due to overbooking. Although I had booked long in advance with confirmations received even the day before. They informed us that they booked us a room at the Best Western near by. The room booked in our stead was a small basic room. This was also annoying as we had booked a superior room with them and the room was obviously of lesser value. Save the frustration and confusion book with an other stay.
