I paid a share room with 8 people, when I got there they placed me on an 16 people room. We complain with the receptionist and told he couldn’t do nothing about.

Hébergement très bien situé sur le canal de la Giudecca. Chambres spacieuses avec une bonne literie. Les douches+toilettes sont propres et bien entretenues. Living room au rez-de-chaussée chaleureux et bien décontracte.

We stayed here 10 years and the atmosphere was far better as the bar area seemed to busier (probably due to pricing) and there wasn't security inside making sure that people were not drinking after 11pm

Fun spot to stay for a few days. The bathrooms are shared and are a bit tight, but for the price you can't complain. Definitely a unique experience if you have never stayed in a Hostel before. The coffee/drink bar was great, good area to mingle as well. Note, you do have to get there by water taxi, so be prepared to buy a ticket or day pass upon arrival.

Better than the reviews
I read a lot of reviews, many w negative comments, like slow internet. I enjoyed Generator, clean rooms, easy set up, big play room w bar and food and good internet. The biggest issue is that it’s not on the big Venice island, which means figuring out the vaporettos to the spot. Not hard, plenty of boats and doesn’t limit things, but a slight inconvenience. But the view at night is amazing.

My room was described as "5 single bunk beds" but the room was of "6 bunk beds 2 single beds". When I asked the receptionist and told they are giving wrong information, she just said "yes we are"... She was quite rude. While booking on Expedia, it said "breakfast included" but then it wasn't and my receipt didn't show this. Another friend had the same problem. So much misinformation.. Their main concept is giving you a bed but not a good experience. Bathrooms are super dirty (even sink is not doing its job to keep itself clean :D). Worst part was, they checked in an alcoholic guy in the middle of the night who smelled so much that they obviously knew he is an alcoholic. He came to our room at 5 am and opened the light, we were all awake! They kept this guy, but I changed my room. I just don't like the way they treat you, like a room full of animals that they want to charge as much as they can.

Very friendly staff willing to answer questions and help out. The hostel was nice itself too (I’ve stayed in much worse) and for me, in an easy location to commute both day and night from mainland Venice and Lido (for the film festival). Would defo comeback.

It’s a great place to stay, nice decoration, great and very informative members of the staff. In my opinion, this hostel has a slightly lower price compared to others because you have to get a ferry boat to get there. The ONLY disadvantage is that it’s located in a island and you have to pay a ferry do get from/to. The pass I bought costed me about 20 euros and was valid for 24 hours. It might not be a disadvantage for some as I could use this pass to ride boats all over venice’s canals. These boats are kind of public transport that takes you all over the city.

I really enjoy my 4 day stay here.. the property itself was very nice for a hostel, the staff Sarah and luchea was super kind and helpful, the others that work the desk was nice alsooooo.. I stayed in 201 and it was clean every day and air conditioning which was a plus…the ladies shower was super gross , the shower needs to be beached down to remove all the mold 👎 Other than the shower, this is a great place away from tourist crowds, very chilled atmosphere, close to waterbus, market, dining, attractions etc.. I would highly recommend and if I’m in Venice again I would stay here again … Overall good vibes and the lounge area is very cool pool table, games , reading area, bar etc.. this is in a great location. I had my coffee every morning outside by the water and that was most lovely.. overall great place to stay.. oh by the way this was my 1st time staying in a hostel

The staff was great and available when needed. The location was breath taking. Eating while watching the sun set on Venice was a memorable experience. The public transit ferry dock was very close. I had a 7 day transit pass for the city which I found very useful.

No está en la mejor zona.
Muy buen hostal, pero sin duda es complicado llegar. Queda fuera de la zona céntrica de Venecia, donde solo puedes llegar en barco, lo que hace el tránsito tedioso.

El check in fue rápido. El hotel es muy lindo y muy bien decorado. Cuenta con cafeteria y restaurant. Sala de estar. Las habitaciones son amplias solo los lockers para dejar las valijas son muy incómodos. Esta ubicado abajo de la cama, en un cajón. Una de las empleadas me ayudo muy amablemente a sacarla del lockers. Si querés dejar la valija unas horas se debe abonar 5eu. .

Wir waren wirklich zufrieden. Die Anlegestelle ist fast vor dem Haus und wirklich gut erreichbar. Einen kleinen Supermarkt gibts auch. Was ich persönlich etwas schade finde ist, dass es keine Gemeinschaftsküche gibt. Allerdings ist das Frühstück dort sehr nett

The location is great despite not being on the main island. Easy transportation as well, but you absolutely need a vaporetti pass. Also plan towels/hair dryer/lock/soap etc because those all come at an extra cost, which was very disappointing. The shared bathroom are so small, you have very little room to put down your things or hand your clothes while you are in the shower.

Très bel endroit et bâtiment avec très belle vue sur la rive d'en face. Personnel très sympa et professionnel. Par contre très déçue de l'état de la chambre (207) qui avait sa seule fenêtre condamnée, le clim hors service ce qui fait que à 8 personnes c'était totalement étouffant car non ventilé. De plus salle de bain mal nettoyé et la barre de douche cassée. On vois que ce défaut existe de plus depuis pas mal de temps. J'ai payé plus de 50 euros la nuit dans une chambre pour 8 dans un lit superposé et trouve cela cher au vu de ce qui précède! Dommage de ne pas correctement entretenir ce bel endroit!

スタッフは色々察してくれるのでありがたいです。 ただ 4つあるシャワーのうちシャワへが一つない(しかも狭い) トイレの鍵は全部壊れてる(意図的？) 洗面台が2つしかないので朝混む などどうしてもドミトリーの割に共用部が貧弱な感じがします。 しかしベネチア市街に近い場所でこのお値段はやはり安い。 背に腹は替えられぬと言うことでしょうか。

Das Personal recht unfreundlich. An den Stockbetten klebte Kaugummi, die Tapete löste sicj von der Wand. Die Klimaanlage kühlt nicht richtig. Einige Toiletten hatten keine Schlösser. Die Duschen hatten nicht genug Platz um Sachen abzulegen und diese gleichzeitig vor Wasser zu schützen.

Clean and just quick water ride to the main attractions of Venice. The hostel is a few steps away from the water taxi. Easy check in and very clean .
