There are nice wineries and restaurants nearby too and the concierge made very helpful recommendations and reservations for us. Use the hotel name (and not just the address) since the Apple Maps and Google Maps gets confused otherwise."

We arrived due to my wife having emergency surgery in Siena, we were supposed to be in Venice, and this hotel staff went to work making sure we were taken care of. "A little far away from Siena, but buses came by regularly and taxi's only cost about 12 Euros to get you to and from Siena."

"We stayed in Castillo for 5 days and we like it a lot. There was a good combination of medieval castle vibe and modern comfort. Although we’re mostly driving around exploring vineyards and small towns, we enjoyed the Castillo property, swimming pool and beautiful nature."
