The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were gorgeous. The breakfast was fantastic and included a wide range of options. I would absolutely recommend Villa Maya."

"This is a charming old palace with lots of personality and the staff all were excellent. It was a welcome overnight refuge from Pisa after our plane was cancelled. Keep in mind it’s primarily a spa hotel with its own rhythms. And the food was delicious if a bit pricey. Also try the gelato shop across the street for the best gelato."

"The villa it’s a beautiful place in Toscana to stay and relax , the pool is the best feature of the hotel. In the lobby the is a bar where you can order apperitivo, and the restaurant face a the beautiful garden. Food was excellent but pricey."

"The room was nothing short of fabulous. It was enormous, with high ceilings and windows that opened onto views of the countryside. The bathroom was fit for a king. Water pressure was good, and the shower temperature was constant. The bed was firm. Plenty of storage space. The pool was lovely. "This hotel looked to be recently renovated. The place was immaculate and well appointed. The coffee and beverages, all complimentary, were well stocked. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The location was spectacular, right near the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We were very surprised how quiet the room was with all of the noise outside. This place is a real gem!"

"Excellent location in Pontedera. Only a five minutes walk to the city centre, the railway station, and the autobus terminal. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom facilities. There was a wide range of food choices for breakfast with hot and cold drinks readily available. The front desk was not manned at all times; but guests are provided with a key to open the entrance doors if they are locked at night."

"This was our only no contact accommodation in all of Italy. There was no greeting, all contact was on Whatsapp. Some people prefer that. The room is well decorated (Instagram worthy) and very small. The included breakfast is a croissant, water and a tea or coffee, so not really worth it. There was coke in the room but we would have preferred water. The location is close to the tower and not far from the train station. The main issue we had was with the mosquitoes. There were a lot in the room...

"We wanted a quiet hotel away from the city but close to the airport.( 14 km) This was ideal a hidden gem. Beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast. They don't do evening meals but there are plenty of options within a 10 mins drive. It is very rural area. Seems popular with Italian film stars for some reason given the photos in the reception office."
