"Lovely garden views from the Kent building. Signposting lacking - had to check in at one building, and breakfast in the main house, whuch looked loveky, whilst staying in another building. Early check-out at 9.30. But check-in was no earlier than 3pm. Room stifling hot, no air con, no fan provided in the heatwave- windows do not open very far and seems to become sort of walkway around the ground floor windows. Standard walk-in shower. "We have stayed at this accommodation several times now, as it is nearby to one of our daughters, when we visit! We thoroughly enjoy all aspects of The Lodge, apart from the shower! In my opinion, for elder people such as my wife and I, there are no supports to hold on to, and I am concerned that we might slip etc. Despite mentioning this, nothing seems to have changed! Perhaps this issue could be “flagged!” Other than that, I would thoroughly recommend The Lodge!"

"Excellent B&B in a great setting with super friendly and professional staff. The room was very well looked after, it was in pristine condition and had all of the amenities we needed. Convenient parking right outside, and the best breakfast I've ever had at a B&B - A selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt, freshly baked pastry, juices, tea and coffee and a delicious cooked option. Amazing value, highly impressed and we will definitely return if we're in the area again!"

"Hotel is a little dated but room and bathroom were very clean. Fan was provided so temperature was comfortable. Room spacious and will be great if you have dogs. Bed relatively comfortable. Minor gripe is that the shower gel was very watered down so no use really. Other than that it’s a good budget option for this location and I would definitely stay there again."
