"A lovely stay, very close to Alton Towers. The staff were lovely & the continental breakfast varied & suited us well.
The rooms are separate "chalets" with allocated parking spaces next to each front door. We were concerned that staying in a pub may be noisy, but had a very peaceful night's sleep! The beds were very comfy & the family room spacious enough for 2 adults & 2 teenage kids (as long as they are happy in bunk beds!)

"Excellent bar downstairs which was very clean and looked very attractive. Room itself was quirky and large. Had everything needed , warm , comfortable although only thing I didn’t care for was the pillows. A little too hard for me but everybody is different

Packed lunch every mornimg of our stay. Ideal location for exploring. The pianist in the restaurant in the evening was lovely.The food was very good."

"Hotels.com with the hotel have some payment issue. When I check in the hotel front desk staff said that i need to pay for this trip, however, I already fully paid when i booked the hotel. After check and clarified she confirmed already received my payment. And I called to Hotel.com the staff request me to pay again for the hotel and refund my previous payment with Hotel.com due to some payment issue between Hotel.com and the Hotel. But is it the issue of customer why i have to do that.
