"Very comfortable stay in a quiet area approximately 6 minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo in the city centre. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar is delightful. Breakfast is fairly standard continental style. The Elite room is a touch of luxury and is worth the slightly higher price tag. I’d highly recommend a stay at this hotel in the heart of Catania."

"We were warmly welcomed by Celso who did an amazing job everyday to make us feel right at home. We were provided with a beautiful suite that was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was just right with a good selection of goodies. The team provided gluten free options for my wife which was brilliant. Please keep in mind that there is no lift, and accessing rooms requires taking 2 sets of stairs. They were full of mostly people who speak Italian. That’s the kind of place I like to go when I’m traveling. I always keep my translator handy. Each restaurant did have one person who could speak fluent English. "

"Bedroom was small but comfortable with lovely fresh bedding. I especially appreciated the pillows, the best I’ve had in any hotel. Bathroom lovely with good shower. Breakfast is very good with a variety of offerings which change on different days. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We asked for a kettle and an extra pillow, nothing was too much trouble. "

"Oversized room with a jacuzzi, however, the system leaked and water seeped into adjacent room. No 24 hour staff, so, you need to be in communication. We left before staff arrived and left the key on the hook with other keys so no security beyond the cameras. The location was ideal as was the price."
