"Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

"My mother and I stayed for 4 nights the week before USA’s Mother’s Day and had an incredible experience. The manor house, property and views are stunning. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I loved having multiple lounges and outdoor spaces to choose from. Every evening i had tea and/or dessert by the fire which was one of my favorite parts of my trip. I was impressed with breakfast and dinner which I do not say often because I am a bit of a food brat from NYC which is hard...

"This is a wonderful, historic hotel on the river in Worcester, a 5 pound taxi ride from the Worcester New Shrub train station, and within walking distance to the city's cathedral and central shopping, dining area. The breakfasts couldn't be better, and the restaurant is top notch. My room had a separate living room facing the river with operable French doors and windows."

"Beautiful room. Lots of space,and soap and body creme too. Shower lovely with shower gel,and shampoo. Breakfast choice was extensive and served at the table. Charming hostess was very attentive, but not overpowering. Would highly recommend it, and hopefully will stay again."
