Only 1 pillow each which was very flat so the next day I asked at reception if I could have another two pillows to be told no they only have enough for two pillows in each room so I said I’m sure not every room is booked out can you please sort 2 pillows she said she will have a word with housekeeping and get them sent up. "Very cheap City Centre hotel. I paid under £60 for a dounle room on a midweek to attend a conference at the CBS Arena. Expectation was low having stayed at some other Ibis City Centre hotels but couldnt really fault it. Nice reception area with usual small bar athough they had a pool table also. Reception was very polite and helpful. Room was basic but the bed was comfy, it was clean and the ai con worked! Overall if you are on a budget and need somewhere central to stay, this one is 7 min walk...

"DO NOT STAY HERE. I had booked this property a week in advance and on the day i was told there was no room for me as they did not block out the bookings when they were fully booked. They claimed they had sent a message on the portal “hours in advance” However, prior to my arrival there was no message or attempt to contact myself to let me know that the property was already booked up. "Breakfast menu very good, evening meals menu average but well cooked. I struggled with steps outside could have done with a slope, also no lift again struggled with stairs. Staff professional and pleasant, rooms good. "

"Great property, very quiet location, lots of golfers on the coarse so guess its good to (not a golfer). Food was amazing (though a little pricey) and the staff were incredible. With a nice bonus of a live act in the bar on Saturday night. The only let down was the pool etc. Locker rooms in need of some TLC, the pool was absolutely freezing and the steam room didnt seem to be working. All in all though a nice hotel, in a quiet area to get away from it all. "

"It was my 1st ever time staying at a Britannia hotel and I felt I didn't get value for money from what I'd paid to stay overnight because breakfast buffet wasn't included, which was disappointing. However, I felt I got a decent price for a very spacious double room with a nice view of Coventry city centre and I'd definitely consider staying at a Britannia hotel again if breakfast was included in the price instead of being quoted £24 to have breakfast added to the cost of staying overnight"
