"It is an historic 19th century western hotel important to the community. Many 21st century common amenities are missing I suppose to create the ambiance. But simple important amenities like ample free parking on site, good internet, daily full breakfast and a comfortable bed are all available. The price is below standard rates. So if TV, minibar with snacks, frig, safe, room service, bellman, valet services are more important than you might look elsewhere. For me the charm, location and spirit of the old west would bring me back."

"Lovely location and fun atmosphere. The staff were wonderful. The only real downside was that we didn't have cell service and the wifi was VERY slow. If you're ready to be off the grid, this is a lovely spot."

"The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a major plumbing issue in the bathtub that was addressed immediately when reported. All staff members went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I have major beef and dairy allergies. The kitchen knew exactly what I would be able to eat. Eggs had milk, but they had perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs, delicious mixed fruit salad, crispy potatoes, sausage and dairy free bread available. There were more options that I normally have at a large restaurant."

"I came for one night and extended my stay for a week. The owner and staff are incredibly kind. It's no frills.The location is spot on. (I don't have a vehicle) It's easy enough to access food , stores, and downtown. Accomodations are good. Well worth it. I'd return again. Checked all the boxes I needed while I passed through."
