"Nice, clean modern hotel. Good gym and pool "

"room was lovely and modern, unfortunately was a long walk to the room due to renovation works across the entire floor. Location was great, easy to get to the NEC from there with uber. Food was low point, very expensive and honestly the steak looked like a small burger in size and the mushy peas on the fish and chips looked like a snot smear on the bottom of the plate. Ended up eating elsewhere for rest of stay. "

"A basic but clean room, ideal for the purpose of getting an early morning flight or arriving back into Birmingham after the last train. Bed sheets didn’t quite fit the bed but were clean. Hotel bar / food area was rammed, maybe an oversight on the hotel designers part, more than adequate for most hotels but reflective of the lack of other amenities. I went to the airport and got on a train to resorts world for dinner. Overall though I would definitely use this hotel again and can highly recommend it as a good value no frills quality option. "

"The accommodation is of a good standard and everything was clean, efficient and well maintained the staff were very helpful and friendly. Security was good and the on-site parking, monitored by an external company, was available whenever we needed it. We are very pleased to have made the booking and would do so again when we next say in Shirley."

"Everything was spot on. Lovely lady greeted us and also looked after us at breakfast the next day. Breakfast was good. We ate at the restaurant on the evening and the staff were lovely there too, so was the food. My only grumble is we did ring and ask to be near the lift as we struggle to use stairs They said there was no lift which we took to mean it was all ground floor. It's not. Still that was just a mix up with communication. We would stay there again. The stairs were not too bad and it's worth a little struggle to stay in a cozy hotel"

"Easy parking Did not use spa Owners away so could not get breakfast in but they recommended a cafe just down the road Was a bit unsure about the front door being unlocked but apparently most hotels and B & Bs do that nowadays Lovely place"

"Amazing hotel. We came for the weekend for an event at the NEC and we were so happy we booked this place. Not only was the place itself lovely, but the staff also showed the same loveliness. We were also surprised that there was a complementary shuttlebus that took us to and from the NEC building, at different times throughout the day and evening (Around every 30-60 mins depending) The food was also lovely and much appreciated. We loved getting to eat a nice dinner in our room. My partner especially loved the sticky toffee pudding. We will be booking again next year as we have been told the event will happen again, a lovely treat to look forward to."
