"The hotel is very tired, but the owners are trying to tidy it up and decorate.
The facilities in the bedroom were poor, nowhere to hang clothes, curtains don't close tv didn't work.
Having said that, it is only rated a 2 star and I will certainly stay again both for the quirkiness and the lovely staff."

"My wife and I had a great pit stop at Rose and Crown. Very clean and well maintained property. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in after a long day's travel and sightseeing. The self-serve continental breakfast was equally good. Highly recommend!"

"The room was very spacious and comfortable everything and more was provided for our stay. Was offered a cream tea on arrival which of course we excepted. There was a great choice at breakfast. Terri was a wonderful host full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend. Crosscombe was a lovely village with a great pub serving good food. There was a bar at the b and b."

"We had a small suite which was amazing, really comfortable and clean, just a small niggle here the Air Con was not working properly so it was very hot at night. Also in the part of the building where we were only one of the two lifts was working which meant waiting around a long time. We had breakfast in the downstairs dining room, which was adequate. The two staff down there struggled to keep up and they ran out of orange juice glasses, scrambled egg and a couple of other items. I think particularly on Sunday they should have an extra person it was certainly busy enough.
The food here was not the best but adequate for a good walk around Bristol. The hotel was very clean and I would definitely stay there again."
"Staff very hospitable and welcoming (Especially Felix the night manager and the bartenders Alex and Nick), the room was clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is well located to access the city center. We enjoyed our stay."
"Comfy bed, spacious room, friendly staff, great location (short walk to Farro Bakery ☺️)! Honestly, no flaws can be found in the room/ customer service/ check in procedure! Will definitely pick Moxy again if I visit Bristol"
"Location is fantastic, very close to the major touristic locations but just off the centre enough to be quiet. Room was spacious and th bed very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty standard, wished they had a bit more variety but that is just personal preference. Staff were all very friendly and helpful."
