"Great place to stay! The room was easy to check into with staff at the desk 24 hours, clean, comfortable, and spacious compared to other places we stayed in Scotland. Extra bonus was the washer/dryer which was a welcome surprise for us since we were traveling for a week at that point. The location is great with an easy walk to sites. Would recommend!"

"The Raeburn is located in a very lively neighborhood. The property and rooms have a very boho feel to them. The room was very spacious as was the bathroom. My main complaint is that the rooms are right above their outdoor bar which on a Friday night was very loud until well past midnight. On a different occasion we may have visited the bar and enjoyed the vibe however we had a very early flight to catch and needed to go to bed earlier than midnight. I probably would not stay here again...

"Clean , walkable to all locations old and new town , Directions to location and communication exceptional. Laundry , kitchenette in room, clean bathroom , large living room . Didn’t need to see staff but they were available if we needed them’ Will repeat our stay and recommend to friends and family ."

"The apartment was huge and the location was great!! It was easy to get around, Princes Street Gardens was right across the street with a view of the castle! The apartment was clean. There was a Nespresso machine but no pods unfortunately. If you have heavy luggage, it will be difficult to access the apartment. There is a circular staircase and no elevator. This wasn’t a problem for us though but I can see it being a problem for others. We only stayed one night but worked perfectly for our needs."

The first night we were in the room turned tv on for a bit the off and went out, came back and tv wouldn’t come on, called desk and guy came up and said cord was too short and came unplugged. At 06:50am the fire alarm in the room started shrieking for 3-4 minutes and the message came later saying false alarm. Same morning the sink stopper in bathroom didn’t work, couldn’t fill sink, got it fixed 2 days later. Bathtub/ shower was not good, turn the shower on and within...

"Beautiful hotel with small but perfectly formed rooms. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the castle which was tiny but lovely. The bar area is fantastic and the Whisky Bar was our downfall (thanks to Dario who is an expert!) Will definitely return"

"Warm breakfast food not maintained at a hot temperature and left out for longer than 2 hours, scrambled eggs and haggis luke warm and I was ill within an hour of breakfast, ruined the mini break as I ill that entire day being our only full day. When first we went out to get breakfast we had to return to our room and wait till later, there were plenty of emply tables but no one was clearing the dirty plates so no where to sit, people wandering around plates in hand trying to find a clean table.
