"Air conditioning was a saviour in this heatwave. Very centrally located.staff are lovely. They gave us a room with such a nice view. There were 2 baby seagulls on the rooftops which made our mornings and evenings such a treat to watch. Amenities were great, especially with the washing machine. Not only is it right across the street from a very large church with loud bells that continue to ring into the night… The bars open up with many people still strolling down the streets at one or two in the morning. "This hotel is a basic budget hotel with an artsy flair. The rooms had no refrigerators, no in-room safes, no extra blankets, and no tissues! (Just toilet paper.) The shower looked nice, but did not have an actual shower door, so water got EVERYWHERE in the bathroom. The bed was uncomfortable, and the sheets were scratchy.
