"Wonderful place to stay. We had 2 rooms adjoining, with a gorgeous view of the water. Hosts were so helpful and friendly, both in answering questions before we even got there, as well as being on hand while we were staying. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the small personal touches (breakfast snacks, water in the fridge, chocolates on the pillows) were wonderful. They were also helpful with booking breakfast for us at the pub just down the street. Highly recommend; would happily stay there...

"The view out the front window of the hotel is beautiful. The food was ok.. not amazing. I ordered the risotto and it was terrible. We ended up walking to a nearby restaurant for drinks and their restaurant was booked and had more options. Jay the manager was super friendly and the room was comfortable and the bathrooms newly renovated and clean."

"The room was the best we had on our trip. It had shampoo, conditioner, soap in both the sink area and the shower. There was cold water and milk in the refrigerator and coffee/ tea. There was also a heated towel rack and great big towels. They also provided a shower cap. It was large enough that you could both move around the room. Highly recommend"

"The darling couple who own and run the B&B are extremely delightful. Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The bonus was the view from the property was gorgeous."

"This was my favorite hostel I’ve stayed in so far! As a solo female traveler I felt the town and the hostel environment was incredibly safe. The facilities as a whole were very well maintained and clean! I liked how the dorm rooms had a sink and mirror separate from a sink in mirror in the toilet room as well as the shower being separate. It kept the bathroom situations from being congested. Beds were comfortable and clean!! Make sure to bring your own lock for the lockers as they aren’t...

"The stumbling block for this hotel is they have no parking, but there is long term public parking for $7.50 within a 3 minute walk. The hotel is what you would expect for a 4 star hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, good amenities, professional helpful staff and an excellent breakfast."

"Staff were very nice and helpful. Great location and had a room with a view. Shower did not drain at all. Breakfast buffet was good to get the morning started. Overall an average hotel that had parts being renovated. Definitely had the old feeling vibe and very dated."

"Both elevators were out at one point, the staff couldn’t check me in even minutes earlier than the 3pm guideline,and the whole ‘meal thing’ felt weird about inclusions or exclusions. Pay to park (but only 10 pounds) for two nights - but still…great location for rail or ferry, but the staff couldn’t check use an upgrade. PS. Why are the damn hallways so narrow to your room? I could barely get by a maids cart…seems like the fire regulations would be wider. Narrowest I have ever seen in any hotel....

"It is a small hotel (you could call it a large B&B) right in the Oban harbor. There is a pay and display parking lot right across the street - £7.50 for 24 hours. The ferry terminal is right behind the parking lot but you can't walk across the train track so you have to go around the block. Lots of stores and bars nearby and the disilois a short walk away.
