A bit of a fuss since the lobby is on the 6th floor then you walk about 150 m to transfer to another set of elevators to get to your room. Other than that, all good there at hotel new Otani. Beautiful gardens!
I put my white pants on the glass shelf and found it's so dusty! My husband said the ceiling of the smoking room was fully covered with tar and dust.
This hotel once was one of the best Japanese hotel but not now. I feel so sad.
However, varieties of restaurants were still amazing!
The second time I stayed here. The room was clearer than before. Service level was really depend on each staff. Younger staffs were mostly very kind, however some middle age staffs seemed to have some complaints to their job. Restaurant level was still high.
Don't hesitate! Book it!
My check in was very lackluster, however, my overall stay was amazing! We were in walking distance of 4 major subway-train stations. We could walk to dozens and dozens of dining options that stay open late. The staff was super friendly once we checked in. The scenery and garden walls were beautiful and fantastic. I'd stay again!
Very beautiful venue with a gorgeous Japanese Garden. We had a room in the garden tower with a spectacular view over the Tokyo skyline. The staff was very friendly and professional and speaks English very well. Staying in this hotel was a really great experience!
Property is kept up with amazing care. It is from a different era/ generation, but it is incredibly spacious, clean, quiet and well located for everything central Tokyo and beyond.
The garden is epic and the imperial palace is a convenient distance to run / walk. Our journey (slightly longer route was exactly five miles door to door.
Marina Higuchi, Concierge was so helpful helping with directions on the subway stations getting to Nihonbashi shopping including Takashimaya, Mitsukoshi, Japanese sweets, temples, getting to Shinbashi station to Kyoto and Kinkakuji temple, restaurants, etc!!
Access was great with subway station near by. Had many eating options. Besides the hotel that we're near the subway station also. Grounds were very nice with the Japanese garden.
New Otoni Tokyo Gardens is simply beautiful. Facilities are great with over 20 restaurants and countless boutiques inside the resort. The staff are wonderful and friendly. Also, very accessible to the metro line, just a 5 min. Walk. You'll love it!
Finally, it's in the higher end for hotel stays so business casual is highly recommended as you will find patrons are dress to the nines!
Beautiful property and access to two beautiful hotels. Structurally the building and property is beautiful and a 5-star experience. There are two entrances: the Garden hotel entrance is what I would Consider the back entrance. Walk to the “main” hotel and you will get the full 5-star luxury experience the hotel has to offer.
