I was indeed very disturbed to hear about the restaurant services level is not up to your expectation, housekeeping staff did not clean the bathroom or make up the room. The most interesting is no staff is communicating in English except Chinese language, but we don’t have any Chinese staff working at the reception. This is very unusual for us and certainly not our normal standard. There is certainly no excuse for the service lapses which occurred. I have discussed your comments at length with Division heads in charge to investigate. Be assured that we take immediate corrective actions on your negative experiences.Whilst I remain sorry that your visit was not to your total satisfaction, I do hope that we may still have the pleasure of welcoming you back, so that we may have the opportunity of restoring your confidence in our operation. Dear David,We would like to thank you for choosing Paya Beach Resort for your recent vacation in Tioman and for sharing your experience with us. We are indeed disturbed to learn of the several shortcomings you experienced during your recent stay with us.However, as you mention no staff are able to command in English, this really caught me to surprise. Just for your information, when we employ any of the staff to work in our resort, they must have a basic proficiency in English before we employ any of the staff and that is our basic requirements.We also taken note of your comments on staff bringing the glass to your table one by one and eventually it took 20 minutes to deliver and no one cleaned the bathroom and change the towels for 5 days. This is very unusual for us and certainly not our normal standard. Please be rest assured that we have taken steps to address the service standard concerns with our team as we strive to ensure a seamless experience. Guest satisfaction remains our top priority which will not be compromised.Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused during your stay. We value your feedback and will use it as an opportunity to make necessary improvements. Dear guest This is our findings from our staff who attended to you. Your reservation was superior beach front and after your complaint that the excavator was noisy, our front office colleague upgraded you a Deluxe suite which you were happy. As for your claim on on overflow bins, it is a practise that all rubbish is cleared 3times or more daily by public area staff.

Sorry to hear that Tioman island and Paya beach did not meet your expectation.
