"Staff was amazing. They were understaffed with multiple large groups checking in. We were not in a rush so we came back in the evening. They moved us to a river view room however it was under the breakfast buffett. Do not accept room 206 unless you are first to breakfast. Breakfast was great and the staff was over accommodating for those who sleep in."

"Rooms are well appointed. Good shower water pressure. Beds quite comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing as they have removed better protein foods such as eggs / bacon / sausage and only provide high carb and high sugar foods such as waffles, muffins. Coffee machine and quality of coffee was not great, however, that morning they were bringing in a new machine."

"The room door (which is an outside door) seemed flimsy enough for a 5-year-old to kick it it)…felt unsafe. Beds were lumpy. Carpeting needs replaced, as did the broken toilet seat. "

"Definitely do not go here no laundry it takes forever to get your cash deposit I had to drive back with diesel being $5 and get $30 cause they said someone would check room in morning and no it was afternoon . Charged almost double for extra day . Never again "

"The stay here was wonderful quiet and the scene was beautiful me and my family stayed four days there staff was lovely rooms were clean breakfast was served every morning and breakfast was very delicious !! I would recommend family friends if you are traveling to Illinois Rockford please book a room here at econo Lodge .. it was a pleasant stay ."

"The property was listed as newly renovated, and it certainly was not! Only the flooring looked new. The pictures online do not match what you actually get. Bed very hard and simply one mattress on a metal frame. Doors/locks did not feel secure. Very poorly insulated, we could hear every little noise from other rooms and the road. The first room we went into was so strong cleaning product/chemical smelling that it made eyes water and induced an asthma attack. Second room was stale old smoke smelling - a room that had been smoked in for years despite advertised as a non smoking facility. The bathrooms were so old and unclean looking. Tons of dust on the very old heating system - we didn’t dare turn it on. The only good thing was the very friendly husband and wife team who were managing and trying to accommodate/make us happy. They identified that the site had a new owner who was hoping to bring the place back to shape. There is no way we’d ever go back, nor would we recommend this place to stay. Thankfully we were only there for a short 10 hours. We left tired, with sore backs from the bed and smelling like chainsmokers!!"
