"Accomodation was perfect for us as we were travelling with our small dog. Excellent selection of coffee and teas in the room.
Staff were all really helpful and friendly. We had our evening meal in the hotel, whih was excellent, as was our breakfast the following morning.
Lovely town to stay in with plenty of pubs restaurants and bars.
We will definitely stay again when in the area. "
"The room was a reasonable size but not big. However the facilties were excellent. There was a smeg fridge and kettle. The walk in shower was excellent. Easy to get the right temperature and pressure. The whole bathroom suite looked like it was relatively new. No mold no water damage anywhere even the grouting was clean. "We have stayed at the old stone trough a few times now and what makes it such a pleasurable stay is the staff, you recieve such a welcomming friendly approach at all times.
Staff are helpful and accomodating so polite and friendly.
The rooms are always clean and layed out nicely
