"Very comfortable room. Clean and well presented. Shower drain needs attention and would benefit from a soap dish. Breakfast was absolutely excellent. Would happily stay there again."

"The location is excellent, the staff were all really nice and helpful, dining room and food, very good. Sadly, no lift, so being on the top floor was a bit awkward, and our room, though clean and tidy, and comfortable, was a bit tired, and the noise from the fairground across the road, and the boy racers in the night was intrusive because, in the heatwave we had to leave the windows open because there is no A.C. in the main building (there is in the annex). Not a destination hotel for me, but very convenient for a stay in Shields. Having free parking on site was a big plus."

"We had a lovely stay at the Kingsmere guesthouse. It was clean and spacious and good value for money . The location was great . It was just a 5 min walk to the sea front . Highly recommend"

"10 minute walk to the metro which takes about 25 to 30 minutes to Newcastle Central Station. The location of the accommodation is very near to the town centre and beach etc. There are numerous pubs, restaurants to take advantage of. I met the owner to obtain entry but there is key system available. Would certainly recommend. "

"Everything was perfect. Lovely room which was immaculately clean and well presented. Stephen and Neil were perfect hosts and clearly work really hard to ensure their guests have a lovely stay. Great location for everything in the area. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!"
