"A lovely rural hotel in the parish of St. Martin, about 10 minutes drive from the airport and 15-20 minutes from St. Peter Port. Located on narrow, winding roads, the hotel provides an excellent base for exploring the island. Reception is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, rooms are nicely decorated, beds are comfortable, and bathrooms with walk-in shower are spotless. "The hotel was well maintained. The common areas were beautifully decorated and furnished. The breakfast was very good. Although the bedroom was small, there was sufficient storage space. The bathroom (shower and toilet. The sink was in the bedroom), was tiny, which made showering difficult. But my main gripe was the thickness of the wall between my room and the next: I was kept awake on my first two nights by the snoring of the individual in the next room. Room was small but totally sufficient for one person. "Lovely garden view double room with a balcony and an additional bed for my son. Our bed was comfortable but my son is 11 and found the temporary bed too soft and small. Lovely fresh breakfast, lots of choice of continental and hot items, although some cooked items were warm rather than hot. Impressed by the local apple juice too. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and steam room. Under 16’s not allowed in hot tub, steam room or sauna which is right as they are too hot for them! Unfortunately that there...
