"I don't know where to start I wish we were staying longer. From arriving, being settling in, the meals, the service, the locals, the surrounding area, was just all perfect. "The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a charge for a cooked breakfast but was well worth it. The cold breakfast was included in the price. Pet friendly and will definitely stay here again."

"The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again."

"A great last minute overnight trip here. The room was lovely, quaint and cosy. We ate dinner in the pub and cannot fault the food. I had lasagne and my husband had gammon. Breakfast was great. Cereal, toast, juice and hot drinks available to help yourself to and then order hot food. I had eggs bennedict and my husband had a full English. Great value for money and would definitely recommend! "

"Generally very good stay. Landlady made me feel at home and lent me a parking disc which gave me free parking until 10.00am the next morning. Very nice cooked breakfast with cereal and proper coffee. Only small issue was that the curtains let in more street lamp light than I'm used to. Blackout curtains would have been ideal."
