"Was able to check in earlier at 2pm and check out late at 1pm. Hotel offered to upgrade 1 of our 2 rooms to premier suite but we rather stay put as interconnecting rooms. Rooms are slightly musty so we left the doors open for awhile everyday as windows cannot be opened. Parking with multiple entries at RM5 every 24hr. Need to validate touch & go card for each exit. "

"Property is far from attractiions, need to take Grab in/out. Furnishings are outdated and not clean. Stains are found on chairs and sofa. Washroom basin and toilet also have brown stains. Iron board had burnt marks. No hand soap, only one bottle soap and shampoo. Amenities are limited. Only positive note is customer service was responsive to my asks for the big problems. BTW, they don’t seem to check Expedia messages, you need to contact them via Whatsapp."

"Overall this is a super hotel in a great location - next to the river and right in the older part of Melaka. The staff are excellent. There are a couple of minor 'howevers' from our 4 night stay: the bar wasn't open at all; and the restaurant was focused entirely on providing iftar buffet suppers. But, when, on 2 of the nights we stayed, we explained that we were staying in the hotel and wanted to eat in the restaurant (from the a la carte menu), the restaurant staff bent over backwards to accommodate us, even though this must have caused then significant inconvenience. We were happy, but it was unfortunate that the limitations with the restaurant and the bar were not communicated at the time of booking, so that we could either have decided to accept them or to book a different hotel."

"The room was very large with a long bench for storage, it also had a built in closet with wall safe for valuables. The view from the window showed a large section of town. The T.V had multiple channels.The bathroom and toilet had a step down. The staff very helpful at all times and one cannot fault the service of them. To value for money it was good. Taxi's are needed to get about, although i walked,and breakfast is available as well as meals next door."
