"This hotel is definitely underrated. It is at least a four or 4 1/2 star. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and quiet and very up-to-date. The staff is helpful and the location is excellent directly across from the train station the Shillin market a short walk away. So many food options to choose from. Even a bar almost next door. "

Also provide cakes which most Taiwan hotels do not include in the breakfast buffet Location - superb because there’s a mall right next to hotel which has shopping and food. Also can go to metro, AirPort Express and HSR via basement Negative: the overall lighting is very dim, in lobby, breakfast dining room and hotel rooms. There’s statues at some common areas which is quite scary due to the dim lighting. Hotel rooms also not ideal due to bathing area is open and only using a curtain. Bathing is using a round tub which is quite high, not good for elderly to climb in and out. In winter, bathing would be very cold since the space is open"

"This is my second time check in to this hotel, I find the staff very attentive, the amenities are there, particularly their self served coffee is very good. It is a convenient place to get to the Taipei Metro and it is walking distance to the many good restaurants and a market, if you want to enjoy Taipei as the natives do, this is a good place."
